Training Staff

We are very proud of the training staff at Dunedin Stirling Soccer Club. We feature several of the best trainers in the area. All of these trainers are experienced former players and coaches, that bring their years of experience to the players at Dunedin.

FRANK MORGAN - BIO

Starting with the 2004 Season, Dunedin Stirling Soccer Club has the privilege of adding Frank Morgan to our impressive coaching and training staff. Frank was born in Dublin, Ireland. At the age of 8, Frank signed with the best youth soccer program in Ireland: Home Farm/Leeds United. Frank signed professionally with Leeds at the age of 14, where he played from 1980-1987. During his time at Leeds, he won the FA cup Youth's Medal and Reserve Team League winner's medal. He also made numerous appearances for Leeds United first Team. Frank also played for the Republic of Ireland at U15, U16, U17, U18 and U21 levels. Frank has played in the European and World Cup Championships at all levels. Frank won a Youth World Cup with Ireland at the U18 level. Due to injury, Frank was released from Leeds United in 1987. At this time, he came to the US and played for several professional teams, including:

  • Long Island Rough Riders
  • New Jersey Imperials
  • New York Fever
  • Played 1 year for the NY/NJ Metro Stars

Frank has coached at many levels here in the US from U8 through U20 teams. Frank took  U15 and U18 teams to the New York State Finals, and a U12/13 Team to the National Finals.

ALEX STENSON - BIO

Alex Stenson's extensive coaching experience includes Countryside Sunbowl Champions 2000, Hofstra University, NCAA Division 1 playoff team and 1993-95 Long Island Select Coach. He has played for teams in the US and Ireland, and he is FAI (Football Assocation of Ireland) licensed.
