Dunedin Stirling Soccer Club Members,
With heavy hearts we need to share some information with you about one of our own DSSC family members. Daniel “Danny” Mariscal, son of Daniel Mariscal (DSSC webmaster, referee and coach) and Karen Lutzmann Mariscal, and brother of Ian, sisters Heather and Hannah, was involved in a car accident that resulted in his passing. As a parents we can only imagine the grief their family is experiencing. Danny has played for Dunedin Soccer since he was 6 years old, at both our competitive and recreational programs. Danny has also served as a referee for our club for the past six years, was a member of the Dunedin High School Band and Graduated Dunedin High School last year. He refereed our first competitive home game of this season. Dunedin Stirling Soccer Club will accept donations for the Mariscal family. The club will start with a donation of $500. If you would like to donate to the family, we will accept all forms of payment and 100% of your donations will go to the family. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to donate. Our hearts go out to the Mariscal family and we ask for your thoughts and prayers for them in this most difficult time.
